Hi everybody.
I live in Bangkok, Thailand and am new to growing orchids. I'm slowly learning more about orchids by reading some Thai orchid books, my Thai is very poor at the moment! Most of the information on the internet about orchids is aimed at N. America and Europe and doesn't really apply here. Here we keep our orchids outside and water them twice a day...

Hello, and welcome! I got many nice orchids from Thailand. In S.E. Asia, where the weather is hot and humid, we care for our orchids slightly differently from temperate countries.

Thats great! I just got into orchids about 3-4 years ago, and it started as a phal from my husband. Good luck, you will find alot of great advice on this site....

Thanks everybody.
My orchid collection is a little larger today after a visit to a local 50 acre orchid farm. I think some of you would cry if you saw how low the prices are. Because I spent a large amount ($15!) I even got one for free!
