Hello, everyone!
I've been growing orchids for more than 10 years, but kind of let them fall to the wayside after losing some of my favorites to scale while I was finishing graduate school. It's been two years since I graduated, though, and things are settling down, so I'm starting to pull my collection back together.
I've currently got four or five pots of the same Slc. Jewel Box "Dark Waters", which managed to survive graduate school and grow enough to require dividing.
I've also got a 10-yr-old Dendrobium that we
think might a kingianum or kingianum hybrid. It's also been a wonderful robust and consistent bloomer for me -- never gets bugs, survives all neglect, and gives me nothing but joy.
My real love, though, are tolumnia.
In the next few months, while I'm doing touch-ups to my wardian case and trying to get a persnickety RO system working, I'm sure I'll have all kinds of questions. In the meantime, I'm very excited about trolling the forums to see what sorts of wonderful advice / stories have already been dispensed.
Thanks for being such a great resource!
