Ask all the questions you want. Do you know what sort of orchid it is? If not post a pic here and we should be able to tell close enough to give culture advise.

Glad you found us and feel free to jump in with questions. Orchids are much easier to care for than most people realize. Just a little different from the normal houseplant. Welcome welcome welcome!
