Hello all,

New to this forum...have been around for a while on other forums and enjoyed participating in them. Have been out of the loop, so I'm hoping this forum is as nice as it seems. I see a few familiar names from the 'old days.' Became a student judge a little while back and need to reconnect with what's going on out there!

I grow mostly catts and brass crosses...everything outside year round (except for hurricane time!)

I'll try to read the old posts and get caught up.

My goodness...what a quick response!

So what's the story on this board? Where are most of the posters from? I see a few from Fl and mention of a couple other places.

It does appear clicking through the different posts that everyone is much more polite--yet human--from some of the other forums. Hoping to reconnect with a few of my old cyber-buddies.

I've got a ways to go to be a judge, but having a blast.

We have lots of Floridians. We call it the Floridian invasion. Lots from Canada, a few from New York area, including moi. And we have a good number of Europeans, some from Idia, Sri Lanka, Philipines, Australia, Malaysia in general. We also have a nightly chat where we talk about orchids or general stuff. Very family friendly place, Im one of those who sees to it the place stays family friendly

Very cool...was looking for a new orchid chat...used to be one that was very active, seems to have died a slow, painful death.

When does the chat become active??

Usually everynight around 8 eastern US. Sometime 9 or later. I used to be a regular, but now I don't have that much time anymore. I still try to go once a week. I miss everyone from chat. We have lots of regulars. Where everybody knows your name. da da dada! And their always glad you came. da da dada!
