Don't be shy
Should you feel the need to introduce yourself, this forum is the place to do it. It is not manditory by any means, but if you want to, go for it...just start a New Thread and you're on your way!

Marty, since I only recently joined the forum - perhaps I missed your introduction! Being the curious type that I am, I could not help notice that you have Huronview nursey pics in your album. Is there a connection?
Is it possible to have an archive for this forum, so that we can search for past info that has been removed? Are all posts in all topics removed after 40 days?

Re: Don't be shy
No You didn't miss it.... I'm just on a shy side hehe
The Huronview was just a stop over to a fishing trip. No connection. Right now there is no archive because nothing was removed. I'm going to wait until we have about 10000 posts in each category before I turn pruning on :-) We have nothing to worry about for a while still
The 40 days is only turned on in the introduction section. I figured people might be shy to introduce themselves and will be a bit more willing knowing that their 'intimate intro' will be removed
If you guys want I can turn it off and leave all the posts for new generations to see
let me know and it shall be done
Marty

Marty - Your pic
Hey Marty,
What is that thing on your cats head? I think it's hysterical And how did you get the cat to sit for the picture? It is so cute.

the other question
Hi Marty,
Thanks for the answer about the picture of the cat. I thought it was some kind of citrus peal as well.
Well, at least my avatar pic is my dog and I took it! I've got lots of pics I could have used but I decided to use one of Ginger as a young girl before she injured her legs. Boy could she run! She's still around and happy, but she doesn't run like that anymore.
Blessings,
Randy

If you wish to create a Introduction - follow these easy steps
1 - Go to the Forum page here - http://www.orchidboard.com/community/
2 - Find and click on the Introductions - Break the Ice under the Welcome task bar
3 - Find and click the 'New Thread' icon - it is right above the maroon 'Threads In Forum : Introductions - Break the Ice ! banner (see attachment image)
4 - This will bring you to a blank screen where you can type to your heart's content
We look forward to meeting you
