Hello everybody! So glad I finally dared to join this great group of people! I felt silly about asking questions because you all know so much more. I am very new at orchid care. My odontocidium lost all its leaves very soon after I got it, but I have kept on watering and feeding the pseudo bulbs that still seem to look healthy, except for some brownish specs. Is there any hope that my orchid will produce new leaves? Thank you for any help. Culpina
Culpina . No such thing as a stupid question. I learn something new everyday here on OB.. Great place to hang out. Do you have , usually helps to have a visual of the problem. You may also want to check the roots
Hi Culpina, welcome to the board
And as has been said, photo's would definatly help with seeing what is wrong with your plant.
Enjoy reading and learning about orchids here
Thank you ReneeS for welcoming me. I have been reading about orchids and already learned a lot, but there are a thousand questions in my head, since I told you I never had orchids before. I will take a photo where you will see what this plant looks like. Thanks again. culpina
Hi, Rosie, Thank you also for encouraging me. I will definetely have a photo posted as soon as I can figure out how to do it. Talk to you soon. Culpina
Bellini Girl, Thank you for answering my call for help. As I mentioned before, I will post a photo of my sick plant very soon. It is great to have such support net! culpina
Welcome to OB Culpina!!
Is this Odontocidium your first orchid, or do you have others? You'll see orchid growing quickly becomes an addictive hobby.
I just wanted to add that if you still have trouble posting pics, don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!

Thanks, Camille. I also have a Phal that is doing all right. I always liked orchids, but thought they were very difficult to take care of. When I feel more confident about what I am doing, I would love to add other varieties. Take care, Culpina
