Talking Bonjour

I have been registered for awhile now, So Guess it's about high time I said hello eh?!

Hi everyone .... My name is Gloria, I've been into orchids for just a couple of years now actually going on 3 years on easter, when I got my first orchid. It was a phal totally infected with every bug on the planet

Needless to say it died soon after, just the massive spraying's for pests alone probably killed it. Sadly I tossed it!!
Went to the mall one day and seen another with no name tag, but this one looked healthy and had some beautiful flowers on it. My husband pick it up, took it to the cash & bought it for me, I took it home and it thrived and I got hooked. Since then it's been one orchid after another
I have catts, Phals, Paphs, Phrags and some others.

I'm also into outdoor gardening big time. I'm a fish hobbyist, tree frog keeper.

Looking forward to meeting all of you and geting to know more about the group here as I cross the boards.

Regards
Gloria

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Yea, those Phals will get you hooked!! Too bad that first one suffered so much.
We got some frog lovers here, including yours truely. I used to keep fish, not any more though, with the exception of 3. No aquariums though.

Hay thanks all
It's nice to share hobbies, seems like a nice place to do it in. Yep it's a shame the way my first orchid died, But I still have the second one I bought and I'm thrilled about that.
Thank you Gin, Great meeting you too. I've seen some of ur orchids, really beautiful.

Bonjour là phalguy, j'ai grandi à Montréal, manque immobile il. Je vis maintenant sur le rivage du sud ....

(Hi there phalguy , I grew up in Montreal, still miss it. I'm now living on the south shore)

See you guys around the board

Hi Gloria, welcome from another Canadian, and gardener. Hey don't feel bad, my first orchid died too, I killed it actually but this is how you learn. I'll not mention how many outdoor plants have died over the years.

We have always kept indoor and outdoor fish too. What kinds of fish do you have?

Happy orchid growing.
