Hello, I'm Danica, I live in Belgrade, Serbia. I'm 16 and i keep my orchids in my room (so the first thing I do in the morning is checking them out
). I've been growing them for about a year (and admiring them from distance three years before that).
My main problem is: orchids are extremly rare and expensive here
. I've somehow managed to collect some phalaenopsis' and cymbidiums, but nothing else. Hopefully that will change!
I love them because they look so alive, like butterflies... sometimes I feel like their wings are going to move and fly away... they're so beautiful.

Too bad orchids are rare to come by there.. Have you ever considered buying them online? There are many breaders that also ship abroad
