Default hello

Ive been here several times, and thought id better make it official. Been growing about 2 years. Been collecting a bit of everything as i go along. Really like Angraecoids and im slowly working on an aerangis collection. Phrags are another favorite. I grow indoors during the winter and put most things outside during the summer.

Hi Dave...here's an official Orchidboard

I love aerangis, they're one of my favorites. Then again, I have lots of favorites! I can't seem to pick just one...or six!!!

Where are you located? We'd love to see some pics If you need any help, just let us know

Welcome to the Orchid Board! Have you had much success with the Angraecoids? I only have two, and am getting worried I will never get them to bloom.

They seem to be growing just fine, still waiting on a bloom though . Several were very young when i got them:

Angraecum sesquipedale
Aerangis fastuosa
Aerangis mystacidii
Mystacidium brayboniae - appears to be sending a spike , though only about 2-3 mm in length. The plant itself is no bigger than a quater!

A friend was kind enough to shop for me while they were at Oak Hill in Chicago last week. I should be adding:

Aerangis modesta
Aerangis biloba
Aerangis hybrid (distincta x biloba)

Im so addicted to these things. Worse things to be addicted to in this world though.
