I'm from Lyon France, but am doing my Masters degree in Wageningen since I'm studying plants. Me too, I've been looking forward to the Nov dag for a long time! I went to the orchidshow in the same place during Pinksterweekend too. Got some nice orchids. I never went to Wubben, because his plants are quite expensive and I have heard that the quality is not very good sometimes. My favorite dutch grower is Claessen Orchideeen. He has some nice healthy species for cheap.

That sounds like a very good idea! Orchid shows are fun, but they're even funner when you go with another orchid person.
So if you want Renée, we could always meet up in front of the entrance.

Sorry, I just noticed I could see your location right above your post, but I guess I wasn't looking properly :P.
Wubben has a nice collection but they split their plants quite alot I think, which leaves you with only a couple of pseudobulbs while having a nice grown is nicer. They're more prone to survival if they're bigger aswell :P. I've heard of Claessen's Orchideeën, they're quite a while away from me unfortunatly.
I'll be visiting the NOV-dag with my mother (she's an orchid lover aswell but not as fanatic as me:P) but it really would be fun to meet up if you like! We should be there around midday .

I'll probably be there ealier. I like to get there soon after it opens, before all the good plants are sold. I got some nice stuff last time, that sold out quickly. I usually stay a long time at the show, since I have to wait a whole 8 months for the next show! I'll be wearing my bright red vest to be more noticable. And I'm short with dark hair. I shouldn't be too hard to find considering that it's mostly old people who go to the Nov-dag!
