Default Hello there!

Hi! I live in Sweden and have been growing orchids since 11 years. I grow in a large wardian case and on the windowsill. I have limited space..but i think I have about 90 orchids for the moment. I`m soon going to buy another case..(need more space..and want more orchids.. )
My favourites are Bulbophyllum,Dendrobium,Vanilla, Angraecoids and Pleurothallids.

Default Vanilla indoors

I grow my vanilla vines in my case..they are not too long yet. The longest is imperialis which is about 2,5meters. It grows in a pot and then up hanging around a tree trunk.I grow them all in pots with a mix of soil and bark with a little sphagnum. I have planifolia and variegata, pompona and two imperialis.I have not flowered them yet but i have heard about folks who have..indoors..so its possible and very fun!

I agree with Susanne, please share pictures with us. You can set up a free gallery under "Galleries".

Welcome to the Orchid Board! I love looking up pictures of Wardian Cases, infact they are the reason I grow in terrariums, modern Wardian Cases. Glad you joined up!
