Hello Simona,
welcome to OB! You'll find out soon that this is a wonderful and very friendly place to share and learn about orchids.
Like Nanella asked (Dove abiti in Italia), you can set your region/citty in your profile. If you have a question about culture sometimes advise is depending on your climate. It could be handy for us to set your region on your profile page.
BTW I *love* Italy. Have been there many times and understand most of what is written, though writing and speaking is something I better don't try after so many years - but your English is great. What you write makes perfectly sense to me!

Simona!
I know this shyness that comes when arriving here and not feeling at ease with english langage
But people here are really nice so don't be afraid and go on posting and putting comments to other's threads
(Beware, they will show you beauties that you may not find in EU so you'll be at torture most of the time )

I'm a woman too and an orchid addict as well
but the matter is there are CITES and phytosanitary papers for sending plants between Europe and outside Europe...So it's quite heavy and boring to get plants and if you go without having those papers you may never get your plants
