Hi there!
Let me introduce myself, I'm Anthony, a 21 year old student from Bruges (Belgium).
My "collection" started with two orchids in november 2008, a white one (probably the "Ariadne" from
Bock Bio Science) and a purple one "Queen of the Night" (it was tagged, also from
Bock Bio Science). The purple has started producing new buds this month.
From then on I've bought orchids at a ratio 1 per month. I've got 13 Phalaenopsis now, 7 of them are in bloom right now, 1 is producing new buds and the other 5 have bloomed and are standing in the garage now facing the north windows producing new roots and leaves (it's a little bit colder there too so I hope that after a few weeks there's a chance they'll be producing new flowerspikes)
The latest one which has been added to the collection is the "Doritaenopsis Everspring Prince Harlequin" (pictures in
my gallery), it's the first orchid I've bought online and ... well, on arrival I sadly noticed it's also the first one with a terminal spike so I'll have to force him to produce keiki's since it's such a wonderfull flower.
I'm looking forward to learn from everyone here on the board and am planning to expand my collection with Cattleya's, Vanda's and many other species.
