Good Morning to all

Im new here just recently started to collect orchids currently got 6 of them 4 which are Dendrobium's and 2 are Vanda's I have listed the types on my profile feel free to comment, ask or give me advice on them im also looking to buy a few Phalaenopsis over the next few weeks but havnt decided which ones yet. I am currently growing my vanda's using the vase method and my dendrobiums are just in pots, due to not having a green house yet but hopefully will have 1 soon, all my orchids are grown in the house for now but are doing well and im enjoying evry minute of it and look forward to extending my collection.

I look forward to learning from you all and feel free to message me.

many thanks
Craig

Hi Craig and welcome to Orchid Board

I was in Stockton-on-Tees just last week. It was in 'Upper Teesdale' that I saw my first wild orchids.

Gosh, I wonder what time & day it is there by now since I live in Southest portion of America. I have had a phal. that bloomed 3 or 4 years in a row, then suddenly died. I have about 15 or 20 misc. orchids and have never brought any of them into bloom even though many were in bloom when purchased. If I ask 10 different people or look at 10 different website, I am sure to get 10 different pieces of advise! I am about to give up!!!
