So, I've been using this site for advice and information for several months, but neglected to introduce myself! We started with orchids a few months ago when my husband brought home a beautiful white phal on impulse. We learned the hard way with that orchid (just lost it recently), but learned a lot of things through this site in how to take care of phals and what to look out for next time!

We added a red phal (blooming now, recent purchase, not sure the variety) and a cattleya slc best friend cleopatra (starting a new growth) from a local orchid show here in Pittsburgh, PA that we really enjoyed attending. So thanks for everyone's help and we've been enjoying our orchids!
