I'm new and looking to learn a lot about orchids Female
Default I'm new and looking to learn a lot about orchids

Hello! I'm so glad to be joining this group. I received my first orchid, a phal., as a gift 2 years ago and was very nervous. Since then, I have gotten it to rebloom twice and it is growing happily. I am now feeling very confident to try to flavors, but still have lots to learn. I am looking forward to all of the great advice and years of wisdom that everyone has to share.

Cindy

Just be warned - being a member of OB leads to the aquisition of many new orchids!

Welcome aboard, Cindy! This is an amazing place! I've yet to encounter anyone here who is less than friendly and enthusiastic, and though I've grown orchids for almost 30 years I learn from others here every single time I visit. Have fun, learn, share your own knowledge, and watch your collection grow much, much faster than your income!!!

Hi Cindy and welcome to Orchid Board

I started with one Phal which I was really pleased to rebloom twice and it encouraged me to try some others.

My collection has not grown as fast as that of some people here, but I now have 6 Phals, a Den, a Paph and a Miltoniopsis. It's really fun to try some other types.

Of course due to Orchid Board my wish list has grown longer and longer and longer... be warned it's difficult not to keep getting more with us arround.
