Now we need to get you some more plants! There is a plant project that Susanne (cb977) has organized. Even though the project is closed, you may want to consider joining in. I don't think the Canadian plant supplier has been established yet. You can find more info in this post:

There should be a small rectangular

Aahhhhhhhhhh - now I have it (about how to post)!
Thanks to ALL of you for your help in posting and also especially for your kind wishes for my return to health and for your enthusiasm for my new-found orchid passion.
I have a new computer, and once I get my camera hardware installed I will take a picture of my two - lol - orchids - and perhaps someone could identify them for me.
First question: how often can I expect my orchids to bloom?
Remember I am in a very temperate part of BC - (Vancouver Island).
