hi fellow orchid nuts oops can i say that
hi everyone i just joined the forum my name is Suzanne i live in NY on long island i have been growing orchids for 20years yes even so i still kill one every now and then shh dont tell the orchid police my orchidism started in my late teens as a greenhouse i had gone to for years would have a fourth of July sale with everything half off because they close for the month of august i always grew other plants i really liked african violets and relatives well this greenhouse started selling those orchid seedlings in a mesh bag well for half the price how could one resist the calling of the orchid well needless to say eventually they all died so i started taking out orchid books from the library to learn more and then i bought my first book though it was an orchid photo book is when i totally fell in love with orchids yes i like taking photos as well though i like taking photos in general im also an artist so i like drawing them i ecspecially like adding them to drawings with animals and if you have any questions just ask away

Aboard paphwarp, its great to have you here at the OB where a wealth of information awaits. What type of orchids do you grow. It will be great to have you share your passion with all your orchid nut buddies here on the OB. You have found the most friendliest interactive group on the web...glad you could join us. The OB has a gallery where you can share your s and many of ours to share with you.

yes i will have to add my plant list but i have to go through it agian as i lost some from an over humidity problem i recently had ok at this time mostly hybrid cattleyas some dendrobiums,phals,bulldog=paphs,bulbophyllums,cata setums,ascos some other odds and ends i like both species and hybrids and anything scented i would have to say my favorites are hybrid cattleyas mostly on the smaller side as i dont have the room at this time for the big guys,bulbophyllums and catasetums
