Hi everyone! I have grown up around orchids all my life due to my late mother. She loved dendrobiums, paphiopedilums & cattleyas especially. Family and friends gave us beautiful orchid plants when my mother was in the hospital & eventually hispice. So everyone knew of her second love affair
After her passing I realized I had a house full of neglected orchids! So, I put them on a 3-day water soaking regimen and that seems to be working for them. Most have new: roots, stems and blooms!

I'm hoping to learn more about repotting, fertilizing & general health of my:
- Oncidium
- 1 Blooming Unknown -- Help me identify her, please! The first TWO pictures are this one in the attachment at the bottom. (I think she's an orchid, lol).
- 1 Blooming (2nd) Unknown - Another identification, please! It's the THIRD picture in the attachment. (I think she's an orchid, again).
- 2 phalaenopsis (with two distinct personalities!)
- 3 Den. Pegasus', who are in the worst shape.
- 1 Cattleya; that's all I know about that one.

I'm hoping these plants will lead into a long term, growing love affair with orchids
Thanks for reading!
