Greetings from Peyton, CO
Hello there, my name is Kevin, and I live high on the mesa in little Peyton, Colorado, near Colorado Springs. Been growing orchids for about 4 years, but with the war and caring for 2 dying family members, the orchids have not had the easiest life. Hoping to change that now. Look forward to being part of this community.

Welcome. I lived for a while in Gunnison and know from experience that outside growing is marginal at best. Hope to hear from you through future posts and board activity.

I have a few catts, species and hybrids, a few phal hybrids and a couple of species. Have thought about trying a paph, just havent yet. Oncids and milts gave me trouble in the past. And I HATE dendrobiums, and they hate me too. Had a bunch, and never rebloomed one.

Hey! I'm second poobah
For what it's worth, if you do well with Cats you will do well (generally) with Oncidiums and Brassias, Bllra and Miltonia. They are all about the same in requirements and very common amongst board members here.
