I HAVE AN ORCHID THAT HAS LEAVES GROWING FROM THE TOP OF THE TALL STEM. IS THIS NORMAL? BECAUSE I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. COULD SOMEONE LET ME KNOW.

You may have a keiki (a baby orchid plant) growing on there. If you are able to post a picture of your plant, someone may be able to tell you for sure. If that is the case, congratulations. Many orchid lovers try hard for those. (Like moi for example) Carol
