Greetings from an SD newbie
Greetings everyone!
Thought it was time for me to finally say hi, as I realize that Im checkin out "OB" every chance I get!
I currently have one orchid, an intently increasing desire, and soooo many questions... Which leads me to how genuinely nice everyone is at this forum. It is so refreshing!
My one and only ( but Im sure not for long ) is a Tahoma Glaicer "Sugar Sweet", which I know next to nothing about; Except that I am in love with it.

Welcome! There are plenty of knowledgeable orchid growers on this forum. For some orchid experts in your area you might want to also check out the San Diego Orchid Society.

Hi Stellablue and welcome ot Orchid Board.
I had the same outlook as you on my Dendrobium... "it's not grown or flowered, but I've not killed it yet, so can't be too bad". Good news is that in more recent months it's started doing something so I was right to look on the positive side initially.
I don't know much about Tahoma Glaicer "Sugar Sweet" but I've just looked it up on Google and it's really pretty.

From here, San Diego would seem to be the best place for orchids and societies and shopping for said orchids! Glad you joined!

hello, welcome to the forum Stella! i think you've probably already realized...if you're trying to stop buying orchids the OB is of no help whatsoever.... but if you want help growing them on the other hand, then it's the best place on the 'net!

Welcome to OB!! Your BIlra will probably put out new growth this summer and maybe flower in the early fall - make sure you're giving it enough light and keeping it moist but not wet
