Hi Tabs and welcome to Orchid Board. My wife and I did some collecting when we were in the Philippines in 1984 and 85. You can grow vandas and dendrobiums so easily - we struggle with the type at best. Had a good friend in Zamboles that put up posts in the front yeard and grew Vandas on them - it can be done in extreme southern Florida most years but is sometimes too cold even there. I enjoyed the Philipines, the orchids and the people. Most important collection was the wife. Yes we visited Queson City. Nice to have you and hope you will share more pictures of your orchids and growing conditions. Plan to visit the PI again in the next year or two.

hi natasha, thank you yes i have around 40 hanging vandas and still need more lol , its a coil wire which i buy in orchids store here , you can do it yourself try to copy how it looks maybe a small wire for a start then try to increase the thickness of the wire, i think this is best for all hanging vandas, its a space saver and easy maitenance for your chids you can see how the roots go wild ill try to take closer pics so u can see how it looks .
