hi turtle, i also have cats. they also love munching plants! so i make sure no poisonous ones in my yard. as for orchids, one cat do really love the orchid roots! good thing my cats are indoors and the orchids are outside. if not, i'm sure my orchids will be rootless. they also love lying under my orchid bench as it cool there

When our daughter still lived with us, she had a cat that ate house plants. We were told to buy him wheat grass sprouts at the grocery store. As long as he had those, he left all the house plants alone. Carol

i tried wheatgrass before. at first they love it. the second pot. they ignore it... typical cat behaviour! anyway it seems my cats love the orchids as much as i do
