Hi everyone. I'm new to orchid so i hope everyone can give me some advice. I'm a college junior at University of illinois at chicago. I am a biology/ pre medical major. My hobbies includes orchids botany, traveling and studying. Currently I only have 3 orchids, 2 phalaenopsis, and one
Miltoniopsis Bert Field 'Eileen' AM/AOS. I just re-potted the miltoniopsis had some root rot and was left with only couple roots so i have my fingers crossed lol.

Hi toshuff and welcome to Orchid Board.

A couple of roots can often be enough for an orchid to recover so don't give up on it. There is lots of advise here so read all you can and ask any questions you have.

This time last year I only had 3 orchids. I've not bought them as fast as many people here on Orchid board but I have 7 now. I'm sure you'll soon find your collectoin growing.
