Default Hello from Lubbock, Texas

Hi,

I am brand new to the forum and already I have learned something new. Weng said about paphs "As these little plantlets mature, the mother plant will start to die." Oh my, I needed to know that so that I didn't start to grieve...

I am not new to orchids but have not been growing them for several years because of several moves that my family made - one to California - where they wouldn't let live plants cross their borders

But now, I have retired, bought a new home with a large sunroom and am restarting my passion of orchid growing.

I look forward to getting to know everyone, exchanging experiences and pictures.

I have a pond and a waterfall in my sunroom. Looks like I have all the ingredients I need. Thanks.

Hi and Welcome to OrchidBoard! Glad you could join us. Seems like you might be having some fun setting up your orchid growing space. I hope we will be able to see it with pictures!
I know, we are so greedy asking for pictures and you are still getting oriented around here. If you have any questions on orchidboard, feel free to ask anyone.
