A Hearty Hello from Alabama the Beautiful
I wish to make an introduction of myself to the other members of this site. My name is Jamie, I am 25 years old and I am a new orchid fanatic in the fountain city of Prattville, Alabama. I currently have a small collection of four orchids and after I have become educated enough in the care of these four, I plan to expand my collection. I hope that I may grow to be as knowledgeable of orchids in their cultivar, genus and species as other members here on this site. I look forward to befriending other orchid lovers and expanding my current understanding of orchids and their requirements to thrive in a private, home collection.  |

Welcome Alabama!  This is a great place to learn and exchange ideas. I've been growing for 3 1/2 years now, and I have learned alot, yet still am a babe in the woods. I don't think we will ever know enough. 
Psst.....there are a couple of enablers here at this site.  Be careful or you'll find your wallet getting very light and your living space getting cramped.  That's been my experience anyway.  |
