new in town
Hello there orchidlovers,
I'm new in town with my mini's.
I bought schoenorchis fragrans, schoenorchis micrantha, schoenorchis seidenfadnii, schoenorchis maiponensis, ceratocentrum fessellii, doritis pulch and phal cornu cervi, the last 2 are not really small but the others are (I try to upload a few pictures). They will grow in vivarium (tank) with 2 poison dart frogs (i.e. dendrobatus tinctorius oyapock) The climate in this vivarium is not very easy for most orchids, at night 18 degrees celsius and during the day around 25. The humidity is always high and goes at night to 100%. Many orchids will grow but flowers are something completely different. I hope my mini's will do so in the future
I had a quick look at this forum and was surprised by the enthousiasm of people worldwide.
Hope to hear/read/look a lotin this forum.
By the way, I live in Holland
Moos

Hi moos!
I love the plants you have! Very cool
The little blue froggie hiding in that first pic is way cute!
This is a great place to be if you love orchids and enjoy meeting new people who share the same passion. The folks here at OB are the BEST, without a doubt!
If you need help with anything, let us know

 Moos! Welcome to OB!
Nice to see more Dutch here. I'm not Dutch, but I'm living in Wageningen. Where are you located?
You have some really nice orchids and the frog is so cool!!
Maybe this thread should be moved to the introductions forum Sue?

Hello Camille,
I live in Heiloo, 25 km north of Amsterdam;
your pictures of wild orchids are amazing.
In my own north-facing garden I grow Epipactis sabine for several years and it does very well but most other species died after one year.
I too went to the Pyrenees several times and there I saw several Ophrys species for the first time in my life, a good mounrain range for plant-watchers.
I bought my mini's from Botanische Orchideeën ; if you want to buy european orchids, you should try "judith's tuinorchideeen" or in England ( Rare Plants)
greetings
moos

I don't think I have ever seen such small plants!! I went to get a 1€ piece out!
I look forward to reading updates about them in the future!
