Hello OB community

Hello everyone, I have been lurking for a few weeks, now that I have found this great community of people. I figured its about time to register and introduce myself. A little over a month ago I adopted, what I believe to be a cattleya, that was neglected for some years. It was so tangled and growing in every direction but upwards, so I decided to divide it. I am now hooked on orchids, trying to learn everything I can about them, and as I learn more I realize just how out of control this hobby can and will get. I look forward to learning as much as possible and give thanks to everyone for a wealth of knowledge already available.

Yes welcome!! ORchids are amazing, rewarding, and fun to watch...they are always changing, and each genus has its own unique characteristics. You will love them! You will most certainly have questions along the way, but that is why OB is here - to share info and experiences! Its a great place to be. can't wait to see pics of those doggies!! Now that I think of it, I should post some of my hammies, LOL...

Sue and Nichole, you both crack me up! I'm trying to push myself faster down that "slippery slope" and I think I only looked at OB 2 or 3 times before joining!
