Default Hello from Tokyo

Hi. I have recently joined the forum and posted in the identification forum. I have already received some nice responses.

I live and work in Tokyo, Japan, and have a number of orchids, mostly Paphs. I caught the bug from attending the Japan International Grand Prix Orchid Show last year. The next one is coming up in a couple of weeks.

I am interested to learn more about orchids and meet people with similar interests. Thanks you.

Paul

Going to orchid shows is sooo enjoyable. Dangerous too. I only had a few before I started going to shows! Now I have 37 and some of them are multiplying when I am not looking!

You're from Japan? Lucky!! All the great Neofinetia varieties are over there! Are you familiar with Neofinetia?

Nice to have you on the forum, I don't think that there are very many other people from japan here. Any of your orchids? We really like photos! It's always interesting to see what other people are growing.

Thank you for this. I was not familiar with this species but I will check it out. I will try to post some photos later.

Hello Paul and welcome , if I am correct the prince and princess of Japan are orchid growers and have one named after them. I spent two years in Tachikawa and really liked the time there,
