Default Ant Plants

Hi to all you members.
For many years I grew Australian Native Orchids, my book A Guide to Native Australian Orchids was published in 1979.
I have now lived in Tropical North Queensland for 15 years and have become a great enthusiast of Ant Plants. The only well known genera are Hydnophytum and Myrmecodia
I grow a number of species and have some for sale in 50mm tubes; it is very difficult to send plants overseas but there is no problem in Australia. For overseas interested growers I often have seed for sale.
I look forward to chatting with members about these fascinating epiphytes.
Good growing,
Roger Bedford

I also love these plants although they tend not to love me. I only have one Myrmecodia left after many years of growing them. Do you grow any of the Ant Ferns (Lecanopteris)? Many species of Dischidia are also adapted to house ants. They are all fascinating. Of course there are a number of orchids that have also adapted themselves to house ants.
