Intro - Orchid Board

I am not only new to the site, I am brand new in orchids, just three weeks new. When I bought Princess (my only name at this time for the georgous white Phaleanopsis I purchased) I was scared to death. Glad there's a site like this to go to. We are both doing very well--she is on her 7th bloom on one stem. Sorry I'm not versed in the proper terminology yet.

This is a great place to meet orchid lovers from all over the world, experienced and not. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and browse around. There is lots of great information here. Phals are my favorite orchid. Well, this week, anyway.

I like to go into the live chat now and then, when my fingers aren't too tired. I am computer challenged in many ways, so I find it a little difficult to keep up. I too think this will be a perfect place for you. I think it's a little "Orchid Eden" here where everyone fits like a glove.

Welcome ajbc!! The Orchid Board is by far the best place EVER!! The folks here are willing and able to offer help and answer questions. Phals are a nice choice for people just starting out, not for me though. Phals hate me! I'm glad you had a chance to check out the chat! It gets pretty crazy in there sometimes! Hope you see you in there sometime!

. I have quite a few Phals. and they aren't that hard to care for just remember to keep water out of the crown so it won't rot.
