I am new to your board, and thank you for having me.

And I am new to orchids. I've enjoyed wandering around the board and checking things out.

I found my way here after searching out "Sap on orchid buds" and thought it looked like a cool place to get information.

I am not really an avid orchid grower, I don't know their names really and certainly didn't know there was so many varieties.

I enjoyed reading the post in another forum about the Brazil Nuts and the rats and the bees, how very interesting and what a wonderful important specimen orchids are !!

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all and now I'm gonna go meander around some more

Hi Michalea! Welcome to Orchid Board. I found my way here through an internet search on orchids too... can't remember now exactly what I was looking for though!

I enjoyed that article too. The members articles section is great. There is some really fun and informative stuff there. You're ahead of me, I didn't find those until I'd been a member for a while
