Hi! What a great forum! I already learned so much from here and I look forward to learn more about orchids.

I am phaladdict and I think I am addicted to phalaenopsis!!! It all started 6 years ago when I saw phals at local store. I fell in love with them immediately and took one home. Unfortunately, it died about month later due to possible overwatering and temperature problems. Back then, I had no idea about how to take care of orchids. I told myself I would not buy one until I learn how to take care of them properly. 6 years later, I bought phal again and this time, I think I did OK! So I got excited and bought another one and another one... Currently, I have 9 phals. I have to stop myself from buying more since I have no more room for them!

Hi and welcome to Orchid Board! Wow, somehow we managed to miss giving you the warm Orchid Board welcome that is so customary around here. So sorry about that!

Orchid addiction is pretty common around here So you're in good company. My first orchid was also a Phalaenopsis. I've now expanded to many others as well.
