My Take on Orchidelerium on DVD

Greetings to all! The main reason I subscribed here was because I decided to create a DVD that would at least try to explain to "normal" people just why we are so obsessed with orchids. I have many hours of high definition footage shot at a number of orchid shows (including the WOC last January) and private collections. I just finished composing the music and am working on the script. If anyone has any old art (engravings, paintings, and early photos) of collections or depicting the early European collectors, I would love to hear from you and maybe include some of these items in the presentation. You are even welcome to write your own brief account of how you got "the bug." Anyone living within 100-150 miles or so of Tallahassee, Florida can even appear on the DVD telling his or her story. In my next post, I'll tell you how I got hooked, but for now, I am hoping at least a few of you will have art, photos or graphics to contribute (which will be scanned and returned the same day), and a few others might wish to share their own story. So thank you all in advance! Oh, and naturally everyone gets a credit line....
