just a quick hello etc - Orchid Board

Hi i am Penny i live in the united kingdom, and i am 24 and am studying at collage.
I started collecting Orchids about 7 months ago and already have a couple of hundred plants, have had ago at de-flasking a few species of orchids, and have just purchased a kitchen culture kit to have ago at flasking myself.So if any one can help with this it would be great.
I have also tryed pollinating my plants for seeds but find the flowers keep dropping after a few days.
Really looking forward to getting involved aroung the forum and be nice to chat to people with the asame interests.
Any one looking to trade plants or buy who lives in the E.U feel free to get in touch.
I cant always get to my emails as my computer sometimes decides to show me a blank email but once a week i double check them at internet cafe so bare with me if you email me. Hope to meet you around the forum

We'd love to hear more from you...what types of 'chids do you have? How are you growing them over there in college (congrats on that, by the way

) ?
