New to this board - Hello everyone!

Hi, I am new to this board and will post questions to all of you out there to help me with orchid questions. I do the plant labeling and occasionally get stumped on what to do. I am now at a point in this job (I am fairly new to this portion of my job) where I want to re-do all the old lables here and reflect all the new orchid name changes. I also need to reflect these changes in by BG-Base and if anybody out there has lots of practice in that I would appreciate it. Thanks a ton! Laura

There is also a software program named Orchidwiz but I don't know if your employers would go for the $$$ to get it

Where do you work?

Do you have orchids of your own? If yes, what kind?

I work in Pittsburgh at Phipps Conservatory. I do 1/2 time as a display horticulturist and 1/2 as the plant recorder.
I do use RHS and use that as one of my main name verification sites.
I will look up how much Orchidwiz is - thanks for that! We'll see if they might spring for it.
I only have a few Phals at home - we have a display person here who specializes in orchids. She helps me but some of the new names I am a little hesitant to change the labels on.
I can't wait to figure out how to post photographs with orchids that we have lost labels to! Do I just insert image into message?
