Say thanks David. I'm trying to fix my past photo posts now. I'll try and get some photos of my Vanda cross when it blooms. Which probable wont be until another month from now. It is just setting out a shoot. You are from the Naples area. I've been to Sanibel Island a really great beach. Knew a guy who grew Bromeliads though we've not kept in contact for a number of years. I haven't been on vacation since 2002. Anyway, would like to see your vanda and how it is potted and where you keep it. I'm still learning on how to take care of theses guys. Best to you, Paul.

I grow my vandas in a more or less outdoor setting in baskets with no potting medium. Here is a link to a post I made about my growing area:

I will take a few pics later in the week of the Vanda coerulescens, so you can see that one. It is still a relatively small plant, but grows well and has bloomed the last two years in spring. If you have specific culture questions about vandas, feel free to ask.
