Speaking of which: make mine Chips Ahoy! Soft Baked! You cannot eat only one! It is almost as bad as collecting orchids! Either it is a lack of funds or a lack of room! So what can be done? Well I like minis species and I am delving more into those that can be grown in terrariums or any old glass bowl, used aquaria, or whatever will work. Haven't really sat down and figured out all the many genera that I am trying to grow though it is mostly cyms, phrags, and lycastes. This past year I have finally gotten the chance to expand into more off beat species and terrestrials. Speaking of terrestrials, I really started growing a native terrestrial species back in the mid 1960's (yipes that's over 40 years ago!) Goodyera pubescens. I am still learning how to grow them too! Anyhow I have written a web-journal on my experiences to date. If you are interested then check this link: http://jcsplitimage.topcities.com/jop.html
Enjoy.
