Default Hello from a species nut

My name is David Morris and I live in Canby Oregon where I run a small Orchid Nursery (3000 square feet). I am a AOS accredited Judge in the Pacific Northwest and I particularly love orchid species. I have about 1500 different species in the collection and use conventional Labs and Meyers Conservatory for propagation. Anyway some might consider me to be a expert, but I have just as many unknown orchids as anyone else .

David, I'm so glad to see you're here!

Enjoy the board...we have a largely diverse group of orchid lovers here from those just starting out in their addiction to those of us who are full-blown addicts...from home growers to professional growers to other AOS judges.

We have a gallery for photos and a chat room where a number of us meet each night starting around 8pm est.

I look forward to learning from you and seeing you around the board. You won't regret it...OrchidBoard is a wonderful place to meet other orchid-lovers around the world

Let me know if you have any questions...

Hi David - glad you joined in. I'm sure you have enormous expertise and I sincerely hope you will be very active here so as to share it.

The only thing better than being an orchid expert is being an orchid expert who particularly loves orchid species. (I'm an amateur who particularly loves orchid species.)

Default How about a Viking?

Actually I am a Viking as I was a Gymnast at PSU (Portland State University), and I am not a football enthusiast.

Default Cellist

Okay let me think... Which Orchid judge is a Male and lives in or near Seattle Humm. Yes I play a cello as well. Yes I also studied Music at Marylhurst College a long time ago. And no I will leave you anonymous Phantasm, but I am pretty sure I know who you are.
