It wasn't too tough to figure out! There aren't exactly a plethora of judges in Seattle these days.....I studied music as a child and played the clarinet into my first couple years of college. Haven't pulled the thing out of the closet in years.....Music is an excellent avenue to developing the mind.

Welcome to the board. Hope to see you listed in the "top sites" area of the board sometime soon. I used to live in Orygun back when being from California wasn't cool
I lived in Grants Pass and K. Falls for a while. Nice state - just too expensive now that it's part of California

Don't listen to Tony, he's a poor misguided duck wandering in search of supporters....it's sad, really.

Yeah, yeah, all the Beavers think they're something special just because they finally won a civil war...

Welcome to the forum! Cannot imagine 1500 species! Got a website? Would enjoy learning more on how you handle such a large and diverse collection!

Welcome David, I'm a bit of a species nut myself but have nowhere near your number. I'll be picking your brain soon enough.

In response to growing 1500 species
The trick is that I grow some very well, some very poorly and most inbetween.
I do have a web site at
www.clackamas-orchids.com
and I sell some on ebay under the
canbyorchid name.
