Extremely new to Orchids - Orchid Board

I am a very unknowledgeable about orchids. One was given to me as a gift. I was told to water it 2-3 times weekly and let it drain well. It is been about 2 months and seems to do be doing fine right now. But I'm sure eventually I will run into trouble. But right now things are looking good!

I will try to have pics up by this weekend. But I was just browsing a few threads and found a picture of one of yours, Jkelee. The one you weren't sure what it was called. Someone said it looked like their Buddha. That is what mine looks like. I was excited to see one that looked like mine! YAY!

Hi Tucker, welcome to the OB! we were all extremely new to orchids at some point and I bet at least 85% of us got to grow them through a gift.
