Hello from Nebraska - Orchid Board

I have a small collection, mostly Phals. We have cold winters but lots of sun. I grow my orchids on my windowsill and they start blooming in December. I've been growing them for 10 years now. This is an addictive hobby isn't it.

If you still only have a "small" collection after 10 years it isn't nearly as addictive for you as most on this forum!

I love Phals also, and I can't seem to stop collecting them. Hope you have lots of fun here on OB. It's a great place to hang out and meet other orchid lovers.

Welcome MaryK. I don't recall seeing anyone from Nebraska since I have been here (but I am probably wrong on that). You can see who else is here from your area by using the "Member Map" feature at the left. Glad to have you join.

I used to have a small collection and thought I was addicted to orchids. Then I joined OB and discovered what orchid addiction really is, and my collection exploded! Can't stop buying more now.
