Hello from San Francisco

Hello everyone. I joined Orchid Board last week, but just now have time to introduce myself. The orchid bug got me back in the early 90s, when I received a Phalaenopsis as a gift. Now I have almost 100 orchids scattered inside and outside my apartment. I've always noticed this site whenever I search for orchid info online, and I thought it was past time that I joined. Technically under the US RDA zones, I'm in zone 10A, but that's only because San Francisco doesn't get very cold. Of course it's rarely very hot either, so that zone assignment doesn't seem quite right. It's all part of the fun of gardening on the left coast.

I'm looking forward to delving more into the forums and learning lots!

Hi Mark and welcome I have not checked your site but Im sure I will soon. I have however been to San Fran and it was warm in the day and freezing (for me) at night. Beautiful city.
