I love orchids!! Help me learn!! - Orchid Board

I love orchids! I used to grow african violets but they got to be too routine so I wanted something different and now I grow orchids. I've already had my first spike, bud and blooms so I'm not a total greenhorn but, I still have a long way to go before I am "expert."
I hope to meet many friends here and increase my knowledge. Going orchid shopping in november. I still have room for just one more...

Glad you chose to join, but Imust say... there's no such thing as just one more

Ineed to tell you about minis - they take up less space, meaning you can get way more plants!

to the OB magicatt !!!! There is not such thing as just one more. Chids are smart and usually trick you into getting 2 or 3 at once.

If you hang aroung regularily here you are sure to pick up tons of knowledge, and want more orchids!! I agree, there is no such thing as 'just one more', especially if they are minis! You'll see, orchids don't like traveling alone, they always need buddies.

you'll soon have many orchids. I joined a year ago with 2 orchids, now I have 30!

I will definately be checking out the mini's. I say one more and it usually turns out five more...sadly I'm running out of growing room so eventually I will have to say enough.

And just remember orchids are like potato chips you can't have just one. lol lol

Trust me......."one more" will eventually be 50........even if you think you don't have the room.......
