Hello and welcome. I was born and raised in the Phils. from the province of Pampanga. I'm new to orchids but I can totally relate to what you were saying about how people raise their orchids back home as I see my neighbors back then who had their chids outside mounted on big tree trunks. Also use water that they use to wash and clean the fish to kind of feed or fertilize them, (it can get stinky...lol) Was never interested in orchids back then because it's kind of pricey to maintain and buy them.
