Introduction

Hi I live in Northern CA where it is currently 103 degrees. Fortunately it isn't usually so hot here.

I am a hobby grower and have a variety of orchids including Phaleanopsis, Paphiopedilum, Schaumbergkia, Laelia, Vanda, Oncidium and a number of hybrids. My husband says if I get any more orchids there won't be any room for the people. Apparently, he isn't as good at rearranging the objects within a space to make room for one more as I am! I have been told at times that my kitchen looks like a jungle. If that's the case, I guess I like jungles.

I hope to learn more about the care of my plants and any general orchid information that might come my way.
