Default Hello from newcomer Trimmer

Hello Orchid peeps

I love growing and taking photos of orchids ... just missed submitting for this year's calender, so I'll enter some pics next year

I've grown a mixed bag of babies but now I'm mainly raising younguns bought from Burnham at shows in Scotland ... this year my Coelogyne christata produced its first blooms for me - they smelled absolutely divine - heres a pic of a bit of one :-)

Hi Trimmer. Something tells me you'll fit in here just fine. Glad you chose to join and speak up. We'd love to see your photos. Feel free to set up a gallery and store them here on line, if you want.

Default Thanks for the warm welcome :-)

Thanks to all you friendly folk who welcomed me here so warmly .... I've put some images up on a gallery space and I'm slowly making my way through all the contributions here.

I've joined the Stanhopea group 'cause I've got two babies and one of them is rising out its tiny black pot like a massive soufflé :-) I need to put it in a basket but I'm not sure what medium to use .... tum te tum

Wonderful start to your gallery, Trimmer. One thing, though (just a request from me personally) could you post 640 pixel long side images (or larger) to your gallery? Most folks nowadays have rather large monitors and 300 pixels is pretty small. This is not meant as a criticism, just a request.
