Default New Kid in Town

Hello all,
My name is Roy, and I live in Colorado springs. I've been growing orchids for some 30 years. Currently I have 25 or so, mostly Phals, both cultivars and species (hieroglyphica, bastianii, amboinensis, stuartiana). In addition I also grow Oncidium, Odontocidium, Paph, and Dendrobiums. For some reason, these all do very well in this altitude and alpine desert climate, where the humidity is often in the single digits. I don't do much by way of humidifying, which just proves how adaptable these plants are!
I will probably mostly be of the 'lurker' tribe, but will chime in when I think I might have something to offer.
My Avatar is a picture of my Odcm. Margaret Holm 'Alpine', one of my favorite plants (it's flowering right now for the second time this year).
