hello from miami - Orchid Board

Hi I am new to the forum. My husband and I have been collecting orchids. I must admit he knows alot more than I do. He directed me to this board to gain more knowledge. I think they are all beautiful!

hi everyone. Thanks for the welcomes. I will post pictures of my favorites. Lets see..we have vandas and catts, those are my favorites. We have others too but I would need my husband to remind me of their names. I can't seem to remember them. I am starting a ground orchid bed, tips anyone?

When the first orchids arrived in our home, they were my husband's. Then he had a really busy couple of years at work. He wasn't paying any attention to them. I started watering them once a week. A year went by. They needed re-potting. First thing you know, they were MY orchids. I always used to ask him for advice. Then, thanks to quiltergal, I discovered the Board. Now I am an orchid junkie.
